“The HDS 2.6/30 P Cage is a gas-engine hot water pressure washer for crews who need to degrease where there is no outlet: equipment yards, farms, construction sites and fleet lots. A Honda GX270 drives a Kärcher triplex plunger pump directly, and a 12V DC oil-fired burner heats the water, so the whole unit runs on its own engine and fuel.
What stands out is how complete it is for a compact cage unit. The 1-1/4 in powder-coated steel frame sits on vibration isolators, a 6 gal tank feeds the burner, and it is set up with a 50 ft wire braid hose, an EASY!Force trigger gun, a dual-lance variable pressure wand and four quick-connect nozzles kept on the frame.
The trade-off is weight and fuel handling. Kärcher lists it at 500 lb crated, and it runs on both gasoline and burner fuel, so plan on a truck or trailer and two fuel cans. If hot water is only needed now and then, a cold water machine paired with a separate heater may suit better.”

The Kärcher HDS 2.6/30 P Cage (1.575-550.0) is a gas-powered hot water pressure washer from the HDS P/PE Cage series. A Honda GX270 engine runs a direct-drive Kärcher KP triplex plunger pump rated at 3.0 gpm and 3,000 psi. A 12V DC oil-fired burner heats the water through a Schedule 80 coil with a stainless steel coil wrap, fed from a 6 gal polyethylene fuel tank.
The machine is built on a heavy-gauge 1-1/4 in powder-coated steel frame, with the power platform on four vibration isolators. A water-resistant control box holds the burner switch, adjustable thermostat and hour meter. A thermal pump saver valve vents recirculated water, a safety relief valve protects the discharge side, and four color-coded quick-couple nozzles (15°, 25°, 40° and soap) are stored on the frame.
