“The HD 2.5/27 P is the entry model in Kärcher's HD Cart series, a compact gas cold water pressure washer for maintenance crews, property managers and contractors who clean sidewalks, entrances, dumpster pads and equipment away from an outlet. At 2,700 psi and 2.5 gpm it is sized for routine cleaning rather than heavy stripping.

What stands out is the build for its size. A Honda GX200 engine with low-oil alert drives a tri-plunger, oil-bath Kärcher crankcase pump with a forged brass head and ceramic pistons, all on a powder-coated steel frame with 10-inch pneumatic tires. It comes with a 50-foot wire-braid hose with burst guard, an insulated gun and wand, four quick-connect nozzles and detergent injection, and a thermal valve protects the pump while the trigger is released.

The trade-off is that it is a direct-drive unit, with the pump turning at engine speed. For long daily run times, the belt-drive HD 3.0/30 PB is the step up, and the HD 3.0/30 P or HD 3.8/35 P adds flow and pressure in the same cart format.”

The Kärcher HD 2.5/27 P is a gasoline-powered, direct-drive cold water pressure washer in Kärcher's HD Cart series, rated at 2,700 psi and 2.5 gpm. A 196 cc Honda GX200 engine with low-oil alert and silent-tone muffler drives an industrial tri-plunger, oil-bath Kärcher crankcase pump with a forged brass head and ceramic pistons. A thermal pump saver valve vents recirculating water before it can overheat the pump.

The compact steel frame has an epoxy powder-coat finish, 10 in tubed pneumatic tires, rubber feet that keep it from walking and 1-1/4 in handles front and back for lifting. A gun and hose holder and four quick-connect nozzles mount on the machine. It comes with a 50 ft wire-braid hose with hose guard, an insulated trigger gun, an insulated stainless steel wand and detergent injection, and Kärcher lists it as ETL certified.
