New Karcher IB 10/8 L2P Classic Dry Ice Blaster Kit

“The IB 10/8 L2P suits shops that want dry ice blasting without keeping dry ice on hand. It makes 2.5 mm pellets on demand from liquid CO2 in a dip-tube cylinder, so it is ready for occasional jobs on machinery, vehicles or production equipment, not just jobs planned around a pellet delivery.
What stands out is how little compressed air it needs. It works at 10 to 145 psi with up to 28 cfm, which Kärcher sizes for workshop compressors. The gun has a light, quick-change nozzles and an ice on/off switch, and the display shows jet pressure, operating hours and service intervals. This Classic kit adds Kärcher's adjust and filter kit, with a pressure reducer and a water and oil separator, plus a long power flat jet nozzle.
The trade-off is output and setup. It uses 4.4 to 17.6 pounds of dry ice per hour, well below a pellet-fed machine like the IB 7/40 Advanced. It needs a 220-230 V circuit and a CO2 cylinder, and the exhaust hose has to vent outdoors or to extraction because CO2 builds up in enclosed spaces.”

The Kärcher IB 10/8 L2P is a dry ice blaster with built-in dry ice production. L2P stands for Liquid to Pellet: the machine makes 0.1 in (2.5 mm) dry ice pellets from liquid CO2 as needed, so no separate pellet supply has to be bought and stored. It uses 4.4 to 17.6 lb (2 to 8 kg) of dry ice and 44 to 132 lb (20 to 60 kg) of liquid CO2 per hour.
Compressed air use is low, 2.5 to 28.3 cfm at 10 to 145 psi, through a 1/4 in quick coupling. The display shows jet pressure, operating hours and service time, and the gun has quick-release nozzle couplings, a light, an ice on/off switch and a self-locking trigger. CO2 is vented through an exhaust hose. This Classic kit adds the adjust and filter kit and a long power flat jet nozzle.
