“The HD 3.0/20 M Cage Ea is the 230 V member of Kärcher's Mid Class Cage line, for facilities and service fleets that have a 220-240 V single-phase outlet and want more than a 120 V washer can deliver. At 2,000 psi and 3.0 gpm it rinses faster and moves heavier dirt on equipment, concrete, trailers and wash pads, with no engine exhaust to manage indoors.
The frame is what sets it apart. A powder-coated tubular steel cage surrounds the motor and pump, protects them while the machine is loaded and carried, and gives solid points to strap it down in a truck, and the washer works upright or on its side. The 3-piston axial pump has a brass cylinder head, its own inlet filter and automatic pressure relief, and the pump and electrical box are easy to reach for service.
The trade-off is power supply and duty cycle. It needs a 220-240 V circuit protected at 20 A, and Kärcher rates the Mid Class Cage for 2 to 3 hours of use per day. If only 120 V is available, the HD 2.3/15 M Cage Ed uses the same frame at 1,500 psi and 2.3 gpm.”

The Kärcher HD 3.0/20 M Cage Ea (1.150-939.0) is an electric cold water pressure washer from the HD Mid Class Cage Series. It runs on 220-240 V single-phase power, draws 18 A, and delivers 3.0 gpm at 2,000 psi through a direct-drive Kärcher 3-piston axial pump with a brass cylinder head and stainless steel pistons. A GFCI is built into the power cord plug.
The powder-coated tubular steel frame protects every component and can be lashed down in a service vehicle, and the washer can be used upright or lying down. Automatic pressure relief guards the high-pressure components, and a separate inlet filter protects the pump. It comes with an EASY!Force trigger gun, a 33 in lance, a 25042 power nozzle and a 33 ft EASY!Lock high-pressure hose.
