“The HDS VHP3-20024A suits wash bays, equipment yards, maintenance garages and fleet operations that want hot water for grease and oil without a diesel-fired burner. A 5 hp electric motor on a 230 V single-phase circuit runs the pump, and a 245,000 BTU burner heats the water from a vapor propane tank that rides on the machine's own rack.
It is built for regular work: a belt-driven Kärcher KP3030R pump turning 1,375 rpm, a heating coil of leak-free cold-rolled steel pipe, a 10 gauge powder-coated steel chassis, and four tubed pneumatic tires that roll it across a yard or garage floor. The EASY!Force gun uses its own recoil force to hold the trigger, which helps on long wash sessions.
The trade-offs are size and setup. It weighs 500 lb packaged, needs a 230 V outlet, and Kärcher calls for vapor-type propane only, with a 30 lb or larger cylinder. Used indoors, the manual calls for good ventilation and a draft diverter or flue. If only 120 V is available, look at the VHP2-15024D, which delivers 1.8 gpm at 1,500 psi.”

The Kärcher HDS VHP3-20024A (1.109-557.0) is a portable hot water pressure washer from the HDS VHP Series. A 5 hp electric motor on 230 V single-phase power drives a belt-driven Kärcher KP3030R pump to deliver 2.5 gpm at 2,000 psi, and a 245,000 BTU burner running on vapor-type propane heats the water. A high-limit thermostat shuts the burner off if the water exceeds operating temperature.
The heating coil is made of leak-free, cold-rolled steel pipe, and the chassis is 10 gauge steel with a polyester powder-coat finish. Four tubed pneumatic tires carry the machine, and a rack holds a 10 gallon propane tank. It comes with Kärcher's EASY!Force trigger gun, which uses its own recoil force to hold the trigger down, along with a variable pressure wand.
