“The HD 5.0/50 Eb Cage is a high-output electric pressure washer for sites with 230V three-phase service: concrete plants cleaning trucks, mixers and forms, boatyards cleaning hulls, and industrial maintenance crews. It delivers 5,000 psi at 5.0 gpm with no engine, so there is no fuel to manage and no exhaust indoors.
The build is what sets it apart. A 20 hp industrial-duty Baldor motor belt-drives a Kärcher KX crankcase pump, which Kärcher says gives longer life and quieter operation than gear-driven models. Everything sits in a roll cage with four pneumatic tires and an integrated lifting beam for crane moves, and a hand brake holds it in place. The electrical components are in a NEMA 4 box, and thermal pump protection and an in-line water filter guard the pump.
The trade-off is power. It needs a 230V three-phase circuit that can carry 48 amps, and the 12 ft cord means the outlet has to be close. For 460V plants, the HD 5.0/50 Ec Cage is the matching model.”

The Kärcher HD 5.0/50 Eb Cage (1.107-084.0) is a belt-drive, electric cold water pressure washer from the HD Roll Cage line. A 20 hp industrial-duty Baldor motor drives a Kärcher KX crankcase pump at 5,000 psi and 5.0 gpm. It runs on 230V three-phase power, draws 48 amps and connects through a 12 ft electrical cord. Thermal pump protection and an in-line water filter protect the pump.
Kärcher built the HD Roll Cage for specialty work such as cleaning boat bottoms and concrete trucks, mixers, forms and handling equipment. The cage rides on four pneumatic tires, has an integrated lifting beam for moving it by crane, and has a hand-operated safety brake. A NEMA 4 electrical box protects the components from overspray, and the unit is ETL certified to UL and CSA standards.
