“The HDS-E 3.3/25-4M Ec is a hot water pressure washer for places where a diesel burner is not an option: indoor wash bays, food and beverage plants, warehouses, parking structures and anywhere exhaust fumes are restricted. Instead of a fuel-fired coil it heats water in an electric boiler, so there is no exhaust, no fuel to store and no flue to plan for.
It covers a wide range. Flow runs from 1.6 to 3.3 gpm at 465 to 2,520 psi, water reaches up to 185°F, and the eco!efficiency mode runs at 140°F for everyday work with less energy. A single selector switch and service indicators keep the controls simple, two detergent tanks are on board, and the EASY!Force gun takes the strain off the operator's hand.
The trade-offs are power and recovery. It needs a 460 V three-phase supply with a 30 kW connected load, so check the electrical service first. At full load the boiler holds about 113°F in continuous use, or 158°F with the optional Servo Control, so it suits stop-and-go cleaning better than nonstop high-temperature washing.”

The Kärcher HDS-E 3.3/25-4M Ec (1.030-902.0) is an HDS Special Class hot water pressure washer with an electric boiler, made for sites where exhaust gases are undesirable or prohibited. A 7.5 hp motor drives a direct-drive Kärcher axial pump for 1.6 to 3.3 gpm at 465 to 2,520 psi, and the boiler heats water to a maximum of 185°F (85°C) on a 460 V three-phase supply.
Kärcher insulates the boiler with a special foam that it says cuts standby energy use by up to 40%, and the eco!efficiency mode runs at 140°F (60°C). The machine has a central control panel with a single selector switch and service indicators, two detergent tanks, a glove box, storage hooks for the cord and hose, and large rubber wheels with a brake and a tilting aid. It is ETL certified to UL and CSA standards.
