“The CV 66/2 is a walk-behind wide-area vacuum for medium to large carpeted spaces: hotel ballrooms and corridors, conference centers, school buildings and open offices. Its 26 in path and rated 9,300 sq ft per hour cover far more floor per pass than a 12 or 14 in upright, yet it is compact enough to fit into tighter areas.
Two counter-rotating brushes work both sides of the carpet nap, and the floating brush deck follows the carpet without the operator adjusting anything. Two vacuum motors pull debris into a 9 gal filter bag. Large 10 in rear wheels and front casters make it easy to steer, the soft-grip handle adjusts and folds over the bag housing for storage, and an accessory port takes the optional tool kit for edges and detail work, so the operator does not need a second machine.
The trade-off: it is a 151 lb push machine on a 75 ft cord, so long runs mean managing the cord and moving between outlets. For very large open areas where a cord slows the crew down, a battery stand-on vacuum such as the KIRA CV 60/1 is the step up.”

Dual counter-rotating brushes agitate both sides of the carpet nap, a floating brush deck stays in contact with the carpet without operator adjustment, and two vacuum motors provide the suction, with air flow rated at 129 cfm. Kärcher rates practical productivity at 9,300 sq ft per hour at 73 dB(A).
Extra-large 10 in non-marking rear wheels and two 3 in front casters carry the machine, and the multi-position soft-grip handle folds over the bag housing for compact storage. A no-slip cord wrap holds the 75 ft cord, the accessory suction port accepts the optional tool kit for detail work, and the 9 gal filter bag removes easily. Kärcher's standard bag offers 98% filtration, with HEPA bags available.
