New Karcher Armada BRC 45/38 W 18" Self-Propelled Carpet Extractor

“The Armada BRC 45/38 W is a walk-forward carpet extractor for large carpeted areas such as hotel ballrooms, conference centers, schools and open office floors. A traction drive motor moves it forward, the steerable head rotates 200 degrees either way, and Kärcher rates it at up to 6,116 square feet per hour in restorative mode and 10,938 in interim mode.
It handles both deep extraction and interim encapsulation cleaning. A single dial sets the mode, with the pump at 100 psi for restorative work and 50 psi for interim, and the display shows power, solution, brush and vacuum status along with fault alerts and service intervals. Eco!efficiency mode quiets it for daytime cleaning, and the brush and vacuum shoe come off without tools.
The trade-off is size. At 125 pounds and nearly 22 inches wide, it is built for open floors rather than small offices or hotel rooms, and the deluxe hand tool kit is sold separately. For smaller spaces, the Armada BRC 40/22 C offers the same walk-forward approach in a 16-inch machine without the traction drive.”

The Kärcher Armada BRC 45/38 W (1.008-061.0) is a 120 V self-contained, walk-forward carpet extractor with an 18-inch cleaning path and a 10-gallon solution tank. A traction drive motor moves the machine forward in all conditions, and the steerable extractor head rotates +/- 200 degrees. The steering wheel adjusts to the operator's height.
A 1.5 hp, 3-stage bypass vacuum motor provides 100 cfm and 120 inches of water lift through a 20-inch vacuum shoe. The pump runs at 100 psi for restorative cleaning and 50 psi for interim encapsulation, and Kärcher says carpets cleaned with an interim encapsulating chemical are ready for traffic in about 20 minutes. The LCD display is configurable in four languages.
