New Karcher Armada BRC 40/22 C 16" Walk-Forward Carpet Extractor
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The Armada BRC 40/22 C is for teams that clean a lot of carpet and want one machine for both deep extraction and interim maintenance. Unlike a traditional pull-back extractor, the operator walks forward and steers the cleaning head, which rotates to clean in any direction, and the steering wheel adjusts to the operator's height.
A single dial switches between restorative extraction at 100 psi and an interim encapsulation mode at 50 psi and 0.1 gpm. Kärcher says carpets cleaned with an interim encapsulating chemical are ready for traffic in about 20 minutes, and that its cleaning technology cuts carpet dry times by 40%. Eco!efficiency mode lowers noise for daytime work, and the brush and vacuum shoe come off without tools.
The trade-off is capacity: a 6-gallon solution tank and 5-gallon recovery tank mean refills on big floors, and the deluxe hand tool kit for stairs and upholstery is sold separately. If you need more capacity and a traction drive, look at the Armada BRC 45/38 W.”
Walk-forward extraction and interim cleaning in one 16-inch machine.
The Kärcher Armada BRC 40/22 C (1.008-060.0) is a 120 V walk-forward carpet extractor with a 16-inch cleaning path, a 6-gallon solution tank and a 5-gallon recovery tank. The extractor head is steerable and rotates to clean in any direction. Kärcher rates practical productivity at 5,437 square feet per hour restorative and 9,723 square feet per hour interim.
A 1.5 hp, 3-stage bypass vacuum motor delivers 100 cfm and 120 inches of water lift through a 19-inch vacuum shoe, and a 400 W DC motor drives the 16-inch brush. The pump runs at 100 psi for restorative cleaning and 50 psi for interim cleaning. The in-line solution filter can be removed with solution in the tank, and a cord management system keeps the detachable 50-foot cord clear.
