“The AB 84 is a three-speed air mover for carpet cleaners, restoration crews and facility teams who need wet carpet, floors and walls dry before people walk back in. Kärcher rates it at 2,000, 2,500 and 3,000 cfm on its three settings and says it can cut drying time after spray extraction or shampooing by up to 50 percent.
What stands out is how easy it is to move and aim. It rolls on its own wheels with a collapsible upright handle, the cord stores on the housing, and a kick stand lets you tilt the outlet to different airflow angles. The built-in carpet clip holds loose carpet up so air can get underneath during flood work.
The trade-off is that it is a single radial blower on a 20-foot cord, and Kärcher rates it for indoor use only. On a large water-damage job you will want several units, and for drying under low furniture a flatter, low-profile air mover may fit better.”

The Kärcher AB 84 is a mobile air blower for drying carpet after spray extraction or shampooing and for drying water damage in buildings. Its radial fan runs at three speeds, moving 2,000, 2,500 or 3,000 cfm, and Kärcher says it shortens drying time of extracted or shampooed carpet by up to 50%. It runs on 115 V with a 0.5 hp motor and a 20 ft cord.
The impact-resistant plastic housing has integrated cord storage and a sturdy four-point motor mount. Wheels and a collapsible upright handle come standard for moving it between rooms, and a built-in kick stand sets the outlet at different airflow angles. A built-in carpet clip holds loosely laid carpet for flood restoration. Kärcher lists contract cleaners, hotels, construction and flood restoration among its users.
