“The FloodBuster FB50 is EDIC's flood pumper for restoration contractors and facility teams that need to move a lot of standing water quickly. A 3-stage vacuum with 158 inches of water lift pulls water into the tank, and an industrial waste and sewage sump pump pushes it out through a 1.5-inch discharge hose at up to 50 GPM, handling solids up to 1/2 inch.
The design is about getting to the water. It weighs 101 lb, rolls on 12-inch ball-bearing rear wheels with an adjustable stair-climbing handle, and runs on a single 25 ft cord. A stainless steel screen basket catches debris before it reaches the tank and pump, and the vacuum and pump cycle on their own as the float switches sense the water level.
It's a water-removal machine, not a carpet cleaner: there is no solution tank or spray, so plan on a separate extractor for cleaning once the water is out. Check where you can legally discharge waste water before you start.”

The EDIC FloodBuster FB50 is a flood pumper for water restoration. A 5.7-inch, 3-stage vacuum rated at 158 inches of water lift, 110 CFM and 601 air watts draws water into the tank, and a submersible industrial waste and sewage sump pump discharges it at 50 GPM through a 1.5-inch hose. The pump handles spherical solids up to 1/2 inch, and an overfill float switch protects the vacuum.
It comes with a 1.5-inch by 25 ft crushproof vacuum hose, a 1.5-inch by 25 ft discharge hose with locking quick connects, and an aluminum wand with squeegee and scalloped carpet heads. The FB50 runs on a single 25 ft detachable twist-lock cord, draws 18 amps at 120 volts, rolls on 12-inch ball-bearing rear wheels and 5-inch locking casters, and weighs 101 lb.
