New EDIC PTAC Cleaning Cradle 7000AC In-Room PTAC Cleaner
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The PTAC Cleaning Cradle 7000AC is built for hotels, apartments, senior living, dorms and the contractors who service them. Instead of carrying each PTAC unit out of the room to clean it, one operator slides the unit out of its wall sleeve onto the cradle, cleans it right there, and slides it back.
What makes it work is the adjustment. Dual built-in jacks raise the cradle from 2.5 to 16 inches off the floor and adjust side to side, and a quick-pin release tilts it forward or back, so rinse water runs toward the vacuum hose clamped at the pan. It is stainless steel and steel, rolls on casters on both jacks, and works with any portable extractor that pumps water and has a wet/dry vacuum.
The trade-off is that the cradle is only half the system: you still need an extractor, a spray wand and chemical, and it arrives in three boxes that bolt together. If you're starting from scratch, look at EDIC's Galaxy Pro PTAC extractor kit to pair with it.”
An in-room cradle that holds a PTAC unit at working height for cleaning.
The EDIC PTAC Cleaning Cradle 7000AC is a stainless steel and steel cradle for cleaning packaged terminal air conditioners in the room. The PTAC slides out of its wall sleeve onto the cradle, where it can be sprayed and rinsed while a vacuum hose clamped to the pan removes wastewater. EDIC says it works with any portable extractor that pumps water and has a wet and dry vacuum system.
Dual built-in jacks adjust the cradle from 2.5 to 16 inches off the floor and from side to side, and a quick-pin release tilts it forward or backward to direct wastewater to the vacuum. Casters on both jacks let it roll from room to room, and it can be used with most PTAC units. The cradle measures 56 x 24.5 x 29 inches, weighs 105 lb, and arrives in three boxes for assembly.
