“This is EDIC's 100 psi Galaxy carpet cleaning package with heat: the Galaxy 2000SX-HR extractor, the Heat N'Run 2000-watt external heater, a single-bend, single-jet Glidemaster stainless steel wand with a Teflon glide, and a 15-foot hose assembly. It suits a facility team or a small carpet cleaning operation that wants hot-water extraction from a portable unit without putting a kit together piece by piece.
Heat is the reason to choose this kit. EDIC rates the Heat N'Run for solution temperatures of 200-plus degrees, and it hangs on brackets on the back of the extractor instead of sitting inside it, which keeps that heat away from the motor compartment. If the heater ever needs service, lift it off and keep extracting cold.
Plan your power before the job. EDIC says to plug the heater and the extractor into separate outlets on separate circuits, so check the site first. The 15-foot hose also keeps you close to the machine; for longer runs and 220 psi, look at the Galaxy 2000IX kits.”

The EDIC Galaxy 2000SX-HRH-WK kit pairs the Galaxy 2000SX-HR portable extractor with EDIC's Heat N'Run external heater. The extractor has a 12-gallon (45.4 L) solution tank, an 11-gallon (41.6 L) recovery tank, a 100 psi pump and dual 2-stage vacuum motors with 150 inches of water lift and 90 CFM, and draws 13.5 amps on a 50-foot detachable cord.
The 2000-watt Heat N'Run heater mounts on brackets on the back of the extractor and has its own 50-foot detachable cord; EDIC says to run the heater and extractor on separate circuits. The kit also includes a Glidemaster stainless steel carpet wand with a single bend, single jet and Teflon wand glide, and a 15-foot vacuum and solution hose assembly.
