That suits routine carpet cleaning and upholstery work for a building service contractor, a hotel or a facility crew that wants a portable box unit rather than a truckmount.
The heat-ready design is what stands out. You can run it cold today and later hang EDIC's Heat N'Run 2000-watt heater on the brackets on the back. Because the heater sits outside the body, its heat stays out of the motor compartment, and if the heater ever needs service the extractor keeps working without it. The machine draws 13.5 amps on one 50-foot cord, so a standard 15-amp, 120-volt circuit runs it.

The EDIC Galaxy 2000SX-HR is a portable carpet extractor with a 12-gallon (45.4 L) solution tank and an 11-gallon (41.6 L) recovery tank. A 100 psi pump and dual 2-stage vacuum motors deliver 150 inches of water lift and 90 CFM. It runs on a single 50-foot detachable power cord and draws 13.5 amps.
The polyethylene body sits on a 1/4-inch aluminum baseplate with 10-inch non-marking rear wheels and 4-inch locking front casters. Hose and cord connections are at the rear, a standard 5-gallon bucket fits under the drain valve, and the body opens like a clamshell for service. Built-in brackets accept EDIC's Heat N'Run external heater, sold separately.
