“This kit pairs the 220 psi Galaxy 2000IX-HR with EDIC's Heat N'Run 2000-watt heater, a double-bend, dual-jet Glidemaster stainless steel wand with a Teflon glide, and a 25-foot hose assembly. It's aimed at carpet cleaning contractors and in-house crews who want hot-water extraction and a longer reach from a 12-gallon portable.
The 2000IX steps up from the 100 psi Galaxy with dual 3-stage vacuum motors rated at 190 inches of water lift and 100 CFM, against 150 inches and 90 CFM on the 2000SX. The heater hangs on brackets on the back, keeps its heat out of the motor compartment, and lifts off if it ever needs service so you can keep working cold. The double-bend wand is shaped to reach under furniture and overhangs.
The trade-off is power planning: EDIC wants the heater and the extractor on separate circuits. If wand weight matters to your operators, compare this with the 2000IX-HRH-TK kit, which uses EDIC's 6.5-pound Triton wand.”

The EDIC Galaxy 2000IX-HRH-WK kit is built on the Galaxy 2000IX-HR portable extractor: a 12-gallon (45.4 L) solution tank, an 11-gallon (41.6 L) recovery tank, a 220 psi pump and dual 3-stage vacuum motors with 190 inches of water lift and 100 CFM. The extractor draws 14.1 amps on a 50-foot detachable cord.
The kit includes EDIC's Heat N'Run 2000-watt external heater with its own 50-foot cord, a Glidemaster stainless steel carpet wand with a double bend, dual jets and a Teflon wand glide, and a 25-foot vacuum hose with high-pressure solution line. The heater mounts on brackets on the back of the extractor and lifts off for service.
