“This is the Galaxy 2000 kit for carpet cleaners who want more pressure and lift from a portable: the 2000IX-HR extractor with a 220 psi pump and dual 3-stage vacuums rated at 190 inches of water lift, plus EDIC's Heat N'Run 2000-watt heater, a Triton carpet wand and a 25-foot hose assembly. It fits contractors whose jobs are out of reach of a truckmount hose, like upper floors of offices, apartments and hotels.
The Triton wand stands out. EDIC puts its total weight at 6.5 pounds, with a UHMW plastic glide shoe and a dual-jet head laid out so the two spray patterns don't overlap. The spray-tip manifold comes off in seconds for cleaning. The heater hangs on the back of the extractor, keeps its heat out of the motor compartment and lifts off if it needs service.
The trade-off is power planning: EDIC wants the heater and extractor on separate circuits. If your crew prefers a stainless wand with a Teflon glide, the 2000IX-HRH-WK kit uses the Glidemaster instead.”

The EDIC Galaxy 2000IX-HRH-TK kit is built on the Galaxy 2000IX-HR portable extractor: a 12-gallon (45.4 L) solution tank, an 11-gallon (41.6 L) recovery tank, a 220 psi pump and dual 3-stage vacuum motors with 190 inches of water lift and 100 CFM. The extractor draws 14.1 amps on a 50-foot detachable cord.
The kit includes EDIC's Heat N'Run 2000-watt external heater with its own 50-foot cord, a Triton carpet wand and a 25-foot vacuum hose with high-pressure solution line. The Triton weighs 6.5 lb and has a built-in UHMW glide, a brass spray tube, stainless steel dual jets and a 1200 psi valve.
