“This kit is EDIC's ready-to-work package around the Galaxy 2000CX-HR, aimed at carpet cleaning contractors and facility teams who want hot-water extraction from a portable unit. It pairs the 12-gallon, 500 psi extractor with a 2000-watt Heat N'Run external heater, a Triton carpet wand and a 25 ft vacuum hose and solution line.
The Triton is the reason to choose this kit over the Glidemaster version. It weighs 6.5 lb, rides on a low-friction UHMW glide, and uses a dual-jet head designed for even airflow across its width, which makes long days of wanding easier on the operator. The heater mounts on the back of the extractor, keeps heat out of the motor compartment, and comes up to temperature in about 1.5 to 3 minutes.
Plan for power before the first job. The extractor draws 17.1 amps and needs a 20 amp circuit, and EDIC says the heater must plug into a separate outlet on a separate circuit. If you prefer a traditional stainless wand, the 2000CX-HRH-WK kit uses a Glidemaster instead.”

The EDIC 2000CX-HRH-TK kit combines the Galaxy 2000CX-HR heat-ready portable extractor with a 2000-watt Heat N'Run external heater, a Triton carpet wand and a 25 ft vacuum hose and high-pressure solution line. The extractor has a 12-gallon solution tank, an 11-gallon recovery tank, a pump adjustable up to 500 psi, and dual 3-stage vacuum motors with 190 inches of water lift.
The Heat N'Run heater mounts on the extractor's built-in brackets, delivers 200+ degree solution and runs on its own 50 ft power cord. The Triton wand weighs 6.5 lb and has an aircraft aluminum wand tube, UHMW glide, brass spray tube, stainless steel dual jets and a 1200 psi valve. The extractor draws 17.1 amps and requires a 20 amp circuit.
