“The Galaxy 2000CX-HR is the high-pressure option in EDIC's 12-gallon Galaxy 2000 line, aimed at carpet cleaning contractors and in-house teams doing restorative work on heavily soiled carpet. The pump adjusts from 100 up to 500 psi, and dual 3-stage vacuum motors with 190 inches of water lift pull the water back out.
The heat-ready design is the other reason to look at it. You can run it cold today and later hang EDIC's Heat N'Run external heater on the built-in brackets for 200+ degree solution. Because the heater sits outside the body, a heater repair doesn't take the extractor out of service. Rear-mounted connections, large rear wheels and sides free of fittings make it easy to load in a van, and a standard 5-gallon bucket fits under the drain valve.
Plan your power before the first job: it draws 17.1 amps, EDIC requires a 20 amp circuit, and an added heater needs its own outlet on a separate circuit. This listing is the machine only, so you'll need a wand and hose. If 220 psi is enough, look at the 2000IX-HR.”

The Galaxy 2000 is heat-ready: EDIC's Heat N'Run external heater mounts on built-in brackets at the back of the machine, keeping heat away from the motor compartment. The upright-mounted vacuum motors use an intercooler, the clamshell body opens for service, and the motor cavity is sealed. It has a 1/4-inch aluminum baseplate, 10-inch non-marking rear wheels, 4-inch locking casters and twist-lock cords.
