“The Cimex SG-20 Spirogrinder is a 19-inch, three-head floor machine sold as a grinding package. It fits contractors and in-house crews who grind and refine concrete or stone with a walk-behind machine and want the tooling in the box: Cimex supplies it with two weights, a set of fast change plates and a set of nine diamonds.
The heads run at 800 to 880 rpm, the same range Cimex lists for its Diamond Finisher, which suggests it is meant for grinding and refining rather than heavy stock removal. Fast change plates let the operator swap between diamond blades and pad drivers quickly, so moving from one step to the next does not mean a long tool change. The two weights add down pressure when the floor needs a more aggressive cut.
The honest caveat is that Cimex publishes very little about the SG-20 beyond the package contents and head speed, so confirm power requirements and tooling with us before ordering. For scarifying and coating removal, the 400 rpm Cimex Surface Scarifier is the machine to look at instead.”
