“The Powr-Zone is a portable ozone generator for odor treatment after the source has been cleaned up: smoke, pets, mold and mildew in hotel rooms, apartments, offices and vehicles. It suits restoration contractors, property managers and hotel housekeeping teams that need to finish a job cleaning alone has not fully cleared.

It produces 1.5 grams of ozone per hour and is rated for spaces up to 60,000 cubic feet. A 100 CFM fan moves the ozone through the room, a 12-hour timer shuts it off on schedule, and the gas-filled arc module electrodes mean there are no plates or UV tubes to clean or replace. Units stack for storage and transport, and the whole unit weighs 7.3 lb.

The important caveat is safety. Ozone at these levels is a respiratory irritant, so the unit is for unoccupied spaces only. People, pets and plants have to be out, and the room needs time to air out after the timer runs. If the odor source is still there, the treatment will not hold, so clean and dry first.”
