Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)

“The Cimex Cyclone CR48CM earns its spot in a cleaning closet because it does more than one job well. Most floor machines spin one big pad. The Cyclone runs three counter-rotating brushes in a planetary head instead, so it doesn't pull or wander the way a standard swing machine does. It's easy to control, even for operators who've never gotten comfortable on a buffer.

The CM version is set up for carpet, and that's where it really shines. It's a strong choice for low-moisture encapsulation and interim carpet care, covering roughly 3,000 square feet an hour on a 19-inch path. Solution feeds through the center of the brushes, so you get even coverage without splashing walls or furniture. Carpets dry fast and get back in service quickly.

Put on scrub brushes or pads and the same machine handles tile, grout lines, vinyl, and textured safety flooring. The floating brushes follow uneven surfaces instead of skipping over the low spots.

Schools, offices, healthcare facilities, and hotels often have a mix of carpet and hard floors. For them, the Cyclone is a practical way to get one machine doing the work of two.”

Cimex Cyclone. The Premier Carpet Encapsulation Machine!

The Cimex Carpet Machine represents the benchmark for low moisture carpet encapsulation cleaning in the industry. This cleaning approach relies on a polymer solution that surrounds or "encapsulates" dirt particles, effectively trapping them within a protective shell.

Because this method uses significantly less water than conventional hot water extraction, it offers both environmental and operational advantages. Reduced wastewater output translates directly to lower operating costs, making it an appealing choice from a resource-efficiency standpoint. Even so, the true value of this machine lies in the science driving the encapsulation process itself.

A common shortcoming of traditional carpet cleaning methods is that extraction equipment typically relies on soapy detergents that leave behind a sticky film on carpet fibers. That residue acts as a magnet for new dirt, leading to accelerated re-soiling between cleanings. Encapsulation takes a fundamentally different approach — dirt particles are sealed inside a hardened crystal shell, which is then lifted entirely from the carpet through vacuuming. The resulting debris is disposed of cleanly via dust bags, a far cleaner outcome than hauling away and dumping large volumes of dirty water.
