“The Grand Finale is for anyone who refinishes floors in-house or as a contractor and is tired of mop-and-bucket finish jobs. You pull it behind you. A battery-powered pump feeds finish from the pail to the 36 in microfiber or looped pad at a flow rate you set, so every pass gets an even coat without puddles or splash on the baseboards. Aztec rates it at up to 35,000 sq ft per hour, about eight times faster than mopping, and says it uses about 30% less chemical.
It fits the end of a strip-and-refinish job on VCT, and it also lays down concrete densifiers, hardeners and sealers, so it is just as useful to a polished concrete crew. The 36 in head is the one to choose for open floors like school corridors, gyms, warehouses and big retail spaces. The battery runs 5 to 7 hours, which covers a full night of coating.”
A 36-inch battery-powered floor finish applicator
The Aztec Grand Finale 36 is a walk-behind, battery-powered applicator that lays a smooth, uniform coat of floor finish, sealer or concrete densifier and hardener. A pressure-controlled pump and magnetic sensor meter the chemical from the pail to a 36 in microfiber or looped pad, so the coat goes down without streaks, edge bleeding, baseboard splash or puddling. It is made for VCT floor finish and for concrete and gym floor coatings, and it is the final step in Aztec's WorkSmart Sidewinder stripping system.
