“The Dragon DR2000DC is a 20-inch corded burnisher that spins its pad at 2,000 rpm on a 1.5 hp direct-drive motor. It fits schools, offices, stores and other buildings that keep a high-gloss finish on hard floors and have outlets close to the work.
Dust control is the feature to look at. A passive system collects burnishing dust in a cloth collector bag that holds 0.32 gallon, and disposable paper bags come in packs of five. An LED pad pressure indicator helps the operator set the right pressure, fingertip controls and a safety lock-out switch keep operation simple, and a flexible pad driver comes with the machine.
At 64 dBA it is workable in occupied spaces, and the fold-down handle shrinks its footprint for closet storage. The trade-off is the 50-foot cord: on large open floors with few outlets, a battery burnisher saves the time spent moving plugs and managing cord.”
