“The VL500 55 is the mid-size, 14-gallon model in Advance's VL500 wet/dry vacuum line. It handles spills, flood water and dry debris with one dual filtration system, so crews don't swap filters between wet and dry jobs. It runs on standard 120-volt power with a 50-foot cord and an 8-foot hose, and at 52 lb it is easy to move between classrooms, offices and store floors.
Both packages here are the same machine with the same hand tools: an extension tube, a floor nozzle with rubber strip, a brush floor nozzle and a crevice nozzle. The choice is the squeegee. Pick the tools package for spot spills and dry pickup. Pick the Complete package, which adds a front-mount squeegee kit installed in the field, if you'll be picking up water behind a floor machine, after stripping, or after a leak or flood. If you need more tank, the VL500 75 holds about 19 gallons.”
A 14-gallon commercial wet/dry vacuum with dual filtration
The Advance VL500™ 55 is the 14-gallon model in Advance’s VL500 line of corded commercial wet/dry vacuums. Its dual filtration system lets it pick up liquids and dry debris without changing filters between jobs, and it pulls 101 cfm of airflow with 72 inches of water lift at the nozzle. Advance built the VL500 line for a range of applications, from small offices to large education, hospitality, healthcare and manufacturing facilities. A 50-foot cord, 8-foot hose, onboard tube holder and accessory storage keep everything with the machine, and a drain hose makes emptying simpler. A front-mount squeegee is optional on the VL500 55.

Reading the model numbers: Nilfisk lists 107409093 as the VL500 55 at 120 V/60 Hz and 56384673 as the VL500 55-14 Gal Complete. The 55 refers to the 55-liter tank, which is about 14 gallons. Both are the same machine; the Complete package adds the front-mount squeegee kit.
