“The Liberty SC50 is for facilities with large, repetitive floor areas that get scrubbed on the same route every night: grocery aisles, school corridors, hospital hallways, airport concourses and office lobbies. You drive the route once, and the machine repeats it on its own, which frees your crew for the detail work a robot can't do. Nilfisk rates it at 98 to 99.5 percent coverage, and an operator can still take it over in manual mode for spot cleaning.

Picking a package comes down to three choices. The disc head (X20D) is the straightforward daily scrubber, while the REV head (X20R) adds a fast orbital motion with a slow rotation of the whole pad. Lithium-ion batteries charge faster and Nilfisk rates them at up to 10 hours per charge; the A255 packages run sealed 255 Ah AGM batteries instead. If disinfecting high-traffic areas matters, the UVGI models pair scrubbing with a UV-C light fixture.”

An autonomous 20-inch floor scrubber that learns your route

The Nilfisk Liberty SC50 X20 is a robotic (autonomous) scrubber-dryer for supermarkets, hospitals and healthcare facilities, schools and universities, retail malls, airports and office buildings. It scrubs and dries hard floors on its own after an operator teaches it the route, and it can be driven manually at any time. Nilfisk certifies it to CSA/ANSI 336, an OSHA-recognized safety standard for autonomous floor care, and it is third-party safety certified for use in populated areas.

Reading the model numbers: X20D is the 20-inch disc head and X20R is the 20-inch REV head. LION means a lithium-ion battery pack, and A255 means four 6 V, 255 Ah AGM batteries. OBC packages are the standard machine; UVGI packages add the UV-C germicidal fixture.
