“The SC2000 is the step up for crews running a 20-inch walk-behind who are spending too much of the shift walking. It cleans the same 20-inch path, but the operator sits, the tanks hold 18.5 gallons and the machine travels up to 3.7 mph, so offices, supermarkets, schools and hotels get covered faster. The body is about 50 inches long and 22 inches wide, which means it still works in small rooms and narrow aisles where a full-size rider won’t fit. SmartFlow cuts the solution flow on its own when the operator slows for corners, so there is less water pooling on turns.

Both packages are the same EcoFlex machine with an onboard charger and pad holder. The only choice is batteries. The 130 Ah wet set is the standard pick if someone will keep the batteries watered. The 140 Ah AGM set is sealed and maintenance-free, which suits shared machines and crews that don’t want to deal with battery water.”

A 20-inch micro rider with walk-behind maneuverability

The Advance SC2000™ 20D EcoFlex is a battery-powered micro rider floor scrubber that combines the productivity of a rider with the maneuverability of a walk-behind. Advance positions it for offices, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, hospitals and schools, where its compact size lets it work in small rooms and narrow aisles that larger riders can’t reach. It has a 20-inch disc cleaning path, 18.5-gallon solution and recovery tanks and up to 2.5 hours of cleaning time between battery charges, with one-touch controls built into the steering wheel.

Reading the model numbers: Nilfisk lists these packages as SC2000 20D EcoFlex W130 OBC PH (56384071) and SC2000 20D EcoFlex A150 OBC PH (56384072). 20D is the 20-inch disc deck, W is wet batteries, A is AGM, OBC is the onboard charger and PH is the pad holder. Nilfisk lists 12 V, 140 Ah AGM batteries as included in the A150 package. Both have the EcoFlex™ system installed.
