The operator has a clear view all the way around, and the short turning radius gets it into places a bigger rider cannot reach. SmartFlow cuts water when you slow down for corners, so you leave less water behind and get more out of each tank, and the onboard chemical mixing means nobody has to mix detergent in the tank.
Both packages are the same machine with an onboard charger and a 20-inch pad holder. The only choice is batteries. The 130 Ah wet set suits crews that already keep up with battery watering. The 140 Ah AGM set is sealed and maintenance-free, which is the safer pick when nobody on the team owns battery care.”
A compact 20-inch micro rider scrubber for tight spaces
The Clarke RA40 20D is a compact, battery-powered micro rider floor scrubber with a 20 in (51 cm) disc deck and an 18.5 gal (70 L) tank. Its small profile gives the operator 360-degree visibility and a short turning radius, so it can clean in tight spaces where a full-size rider will not fit while still covering up to 32,560 sq ft per hour at 3.7 mph. SmartFlow™ automatically cuts solution flow when the operator slows down on turns, along edges or around obstacles, which reduces water and chemical use and water left behind, and Clarke says it increases productivity by up to 50% per tank. The onboard Chemical Mixing System lets you use detergent only when needed, and a steering-wheel control panel with a multifunction display keeps training short.
