“The Comfort Pak 6 is the smaller of Clarke's two backpack vacuums, and it suits crews in schools, office buildings and retail stores who spend a shift detailing around desks, shelving and stairs. With a 6-quart capacity and 9.3 pounds on the back, it is the size to pick for smaller operators or routes with a lot of above-floor work.
The harness is the reason to look at it. Clarke had the frame designed by backpackers, with padded shoulder straps and lumbar support that put most of the weight on the hips, and the exhaust goes up and away so the operator stays cooler. The 1,300-watt motor moves 144 cfm at 62 dBA, the swivel hose works left- or right-handed, and the on/off switch sits on the belt. The five-piece tool kit covers floors, upholstery and crevices.
One trade-off: HEPA is optional, not standard. For healthcare or other air-quality-sensitive sites, add the HEPA filter, and if bag changes slow the crew down, the Comfort Pak 10 holds 10 quarts.”

The Clarke Comfort Pak 6 is a backpack vacuum with a 6-quart (5.7 L) capacity. Its ergonomic frame, designed by backpackers, has padded shoulder straps and lumbar support and carries most of the weight over the hips while letting air flow across the operator's back. Exhaust air is directed upward and away from the operator, and the unit weighs 9.3 lb (4.2 kg) without the cord.
A 1,300 W, 10-amp motor delivers 144 cfm of airflow and 99 inches of water lift, with 4-stage filtration and an optional HEPA filter. It is rated at 62 dBA. The swivel hose works for left- or right-hand use, the on/off switch is on the belt, and an adhesive bag closure makes bag changes less messy. Clarke states it is CRI Green Label approved.
