“The Spectrum 18D is the widest Spectrum, with a 17.5-inch path for lobbies, ballrooms, corridors, open offices and classrooms where extra width means fewer passes. Like the 15D, it pairs a two-stage, 1,000-watt vacuum motor with a separate 350-watt brush motor, 1,350 watts in total, rated at 92 inches of water lift and 93 cfm.
The operator gets a foot pedal that turns the brush motor on and off in the upright position, a brush-height warning light and a bag-full/clog light. Air goes through a 2-ply paper bag, a motor protection filter and a certified HEPA exhaust filter, and the line carries the CRI Seal of Approval. Tools and a 4:1 stretch hose stay on board for edges and furniture.
The trade-off is size. The vacuum is 18 inches wide and weighs 22 pounds with its cord, so it is less handy in furnished guest rooms and tight offices. For those rooms, the 15D gives the same dual-motor setup with a 14.5-inch path.”

The Advance Spectrum 18D is a dual-motor commercial upright vacuum with a 17.5-inch cleaning path, the widest in the Spectrum line. Its two-stage, 1,000-watt, 9-amp vacuum motor is rated at 92 inches of water lift and 93 cfm, and a separate 350-watt brush motor brings total power to 1,350 watts. The dual-row chevron nylon brush turns at 2,800 rpm.
Filtration has three stages: a 2-ply paper filter bag with 4.2-quart capacity, a motor protection filter and a certified HEPA exhaust filter. A 4:1 stretch hose, wand, crevice tool and upholstery tool are stored on board. The 18D runs on a 50-foot 18/3 safety-yellow cord, is rated at 69 dBA, measures 13 x 18 x 44 inches and weighs 22 lb with the cord.
