“The FM810 XP is the deluxe version of Advance's orbital floor machine, built for crews that carry equipment from job to job. It has the same 1.5 hp motor, 3,540 rpm orbital deck and 14 x 20-inch pad as the ST, so it scrubs corners and tight rooms, removes finish without chemicals and preps floors for recoat with the right pad.
What the XP adds is convenience. The baseboard cleaner comes standard, so baseboards get scrubbed without anyone on hands and knees. The 6-inch wheels lower for burnisher-style forward-and-back driving that Advance says is balanced enough for one-handed use, or lift for traditional side-to-side work. The handle detaches and the machine separates without tools into yellow-marked modules, which helps contract cleaners who load and unload it several times a day.
The trade-off is a little more machine to manage: 169 lb total with the three 21 lb weights, and more pieces to keep together. If the machine stays in one building and baseboards aren't part of the job, the FM810 ST covers the same scrubbing work.”

The Advance FM810 XP is a corded orbital floor machine with a 14 x 20-inch pad deck, driven by a 1.5 hp motor at 3,540 rpm with a 1/4-inch orbit. Three 21 lb weights give up to 160 lb of down pressure. It runs on 120 V through a 50 ft, 14/3 safety-yellow cord, is rated at 68 dB(A) and has a safety switch against unintended start-up.
The XP adds a baseboard cleaner attachment, an adjustable detachable handle and 6-inch wheels that switch between wheels-up mode for side-to-side work and wheels-down mode for forward-and-back driving. It disassembles without tools into modules painted yellow for easy identification. Dust containment and solution tank kits are optional, and pads are available for scrubbing, grout, carpet bonnets, sanding and diamond prep.
