“The CarpetMaster 112 is Clarke's 12-inch single-motor commercial upright, with an 11.5-inch cleaning path for hotel rooms, offices, classrooms and other spaces full of furniture. It runs a 1,000-watt, 2-stage motor with 92 inches of water lift and 93 cfm, turns a dual-row chevron brush at 2,800 rpm, and weighs 19.8 pounds with its cord.
Two things stand out. The 4.2-quart bag is roomy for a 12-inch machine, and the 50-foot safety yellow cord is long for this size. Detail tools ride behind the wand: a 4:1 stretch hose, crevice tool and upholstery tool. Filtration runs through a 2-ply paper bag, a motor protection filter and a certified HEPA exhaust filter, and the brush comes out without tools.
The trade-off is height adjustment. The CarpetMaster uses a manual brush-height knob, so operators have to set it when they move between carpet piles or onto hard floors. If you want that handled automatically, look at the Advance VU500 12, which uses the same motor with self-adjusting brush height and a smaller 3.4-quart bag.”

The Clarke CarpetMaster 112 is a single-motor commercial upright vacuum with an 11.5-inch cleaning path. A 1,000 W, 2-stage motor provides 92 in of water lift and 93 cfm, with an airflow bypass valve and thermal overload protection. The dual-row chevron nylon brush turns at 2,800 rpm and has a variable manual height adjustment, and Clarke says the design delivers dirt pick-up and edge cleaning for one-pass cleaning.
Three-stage filtration combines a 2-ply paper filter bag, a motor protection filter and a certified HEPA exhaust filter that captures 99.97% of particles larger than 0.3 microns. The 4.2 qt bag changes quickly, with spare bag storage on the machine, and the stretch hose, wand, crevice and upholstery tools tuck behind the wand. A cord restraint protects the 50 ft cord, and the vacuum carries the CRI Seal of Approval.
