“The Advolution 20XP is the dust-control version of Advance's corded 20-inch burnisher. It spins the pad at 2,000 rpm, and suction pulls burnishing dust into a dual-port dust bag instead of leaving it in the air and on the floor. Advance says that removes the dust-mopping pass after burnishing, which fits hospitals, schools and hotels where both air quality and labor hours matter.

It shares the Advolution 20's platform: Flex Floor Technology lets the motor pivot to follow the floor, a gas spring regulates head pressure so results stay consistent from operator to operator, and the 75-foot SuperFlex cord comes off a rotating hook in one move. SafeStart and the EZ Store folding handle round it out, and Advance rates it at 66.5 dB(A).

The trade-offs: it is a little louder and 2 pounds heavier than the Advolution 20, and dust bags become a running consumable. If you mostly burnish areas that get dust mopped anyway, the 1,500 rpm Advolution 20 is the simpler machine. For large open floors, the cord limits reach, so a battery burnisher may fit better.”

The Advance Advolution 20XP is the dust-control model of the Advolution corded burnisher. Its 1.5 hp direct-drive motor turns a 20-inch pad at 2,000 rpm, and suction sends burnishing dust into a dual-port dust bag, which Advance says eliminates dust mopping after burnishing. Flex Floor Technology lets the pintle-mounted motor pivot with floor contours, and a gas spring regulates head pressure. Sound level is 66.5 dB(A).

A 75 ft safety yellow SuperFlex cord with a hospital-grade plug releases from a quick-release rotating hook. SafeStart allows start-up only with the handle in the operating position, and the EZ Store folding handle saves closet space and opens easy access to the pad and dust bags. A wrap-around skirt seals to the floor to control dust, an indicator light flags carbon brush wear, and the rotomolded machine weighs 87 lb.
