“The Pacesetter 20TS is the two-speed member of Advance's Pacesetter floor machine family. A 1.5 hp DC rectified motor turns a 20-inch pad or brush at either 180 or 320 rpm, so one machine can handle scrubbing, stripping, screening and bonnet cleaning at low speed, then switch to the faster setting when the job calls for it. It drives through a triple-planetary gearbox and uses the industry-standard NP92 clutch plate.
The everyday details are solid: an all-steel body with a chrome-plated bell housing, a molded handle with a safety lockout so it can't start by accident, compression-style handle height adjustment, rubber transport wheels, and a 50-foot safety-yellow cord with a clear hospital-grade plug. It draws 15 amps at 120 volts, so plan on an outlet that isn't sharing the circuit with other heavy loads.
Two things to weigh. At 87 pounds it is lighter than the single-speed Pacesetter 20HD (102 pounds), which means less weight on the pad for heavy stripping; Advance offers an optional weight kit. It is also rated at 70 dB(A), louder than the 65 dB(A) HD models. If your work is mostly heavy scrubbing at one speed, look at the 20HD.”

The Advance Pacesetter 20TS is a two-speed, 20-inch floor machine for stripping, scrubbing, screening and bonnet cleaning. A 1.5 hp DC rectified motor drawing 15 A at 120 V turns the pad at 180 or 320 rpm through a triple-planetary gear transmission, and the NP92 clutch plate accepts industry-standard pad holders and brushes.
The body is all steel with a chrome-plated bell housing and handle shaft. A molded handle with a red safety lockout switch prevents accidental start-up, and a compression-style lever adjusts handle height. The machine weighs 87 lb (40 kg), rolls on large non-marking rubber wheels, and has a 50-foot safety-yellow super-flex cord with a clear hospital-grade plug and a cord wrap. It carries ETL and CSA approvals.
