“The Pegasus 500H is U.S. Products' heated, dual-vac portable for crews that clean commercial carpet one hour and upholstery the next. A 1750-watt in-line heater warms the solution on its way to the wand, the pump adjusts anywhere from 50 to 500 PSI, and two top-mounted 3-stage vacuum motors running in parallel are rated at 200 CFM and 100 inches of water lift.
The details are built around real buildings. It runs on two 15-amp cords, so you plug into two ordinary circuits instead of hunting for a 20-amp outlet. Large 12-inch rear wheels and small loading wheels make it a one-person job to get into a van or up a flight of stairs, and each vacuum motor has its own ball float and check valve.
The trade-off comes with any in-line heater. U.S. Products notes it holds only a small amount of water, so long continuous passes cool off; short spray strokes keep the solution hot. If most of your work is tile, grout and stone, the Pegasus 1200 is a closer fit.”

The U.S. Products Pegasus 500H is an upright, heated portable carpet extractor. A 1750 W in-line heater with a resettable breaker heats the solution without a probe, and an adjustable 50-500 PSI pump with an unloader valve covers everything from upholstery to heavily soiled commercial carpet. U.S. Products offers the machine with a 1.5 in or 2.0 in vacuum inlet.
Two top-mounted 3-stage vacuum motors in parallel produce 200 CFM and 100 in of water lift. Each motor has its own 1.5 in ball float shut-off and airflow check valve, and a water diffuser at the vacuum inlet reduces turbulence and foaming in the recovery tank. The 12 gal solution tank, two 25 ft 15 A cords, wand holder and 12 in rear wheels round out the design.
