With no cord to plug, unplug and trip over, an operator can move from office to office, up a stairwell or through a busy lobby without stopping. It is quiet at 63 dBA, so daytime vacuuming in occupied offices, schools and hotels is realistic, and the HEPA filter helps with indoor air quality.
Tennant rates a battery at up to 55 minutes, so plan on a spare battery if you vacuum for longer stretches; the pack is interchangeable and recharges in about 2.5 hours. Pick the kit by the job: the Base kit covers everyday vacuuming, the Standard kit's telescopic wand suits crews of different heights, and the Premium Sidewinder kit is the one for big carpeted areas.”
Tennant V-BP-6B: a cordless lithium-ion backpack vacuum
The Tennant V-BP-6B is a battery-powered commercial backpack vacuum that runs up to 55 minutes on an interchangeable 36 V, 10.4 Ah lithium-ion battery, with no cord to manage. It carries a 6 qt (5.7 L) bag, standard HEPA filtration (99.97% at 0.3 micron) and a Deuter® hiking-style harness that adjusts to the operator. At 63 dBA it suits daytime vacuuming in offices, conference rooms and other occupied spaces, and with no cord it moves easily up stairs and through crowded areas. The battery recharges in about 2.5 hours.

Reading the model numbers: All three V-BP-6B packages use the same vacuum and harness; only the wand and floor tools change. Each kit uses 1.5 in (38 mm) components, and Tennant sells a separate accessory kit with a 5 in dusting tool, 5 in upholstery tool and 15 in crevice tool.
