“The V-WD-24P is the wet/dry vac to pick when water is the main job. The built-in pump empties the tank through a hose at up to 48 gallons a minute, so the operator never has to lift or tip a full tank, and it can pump standing water straight to a drain. That makes it a good fit for facilities that deal with roof leaks, backed-up drains, flooded basements or a lot of rinse water.

Choose the standard pump-out kit for general water recovery and cleanup. Go with the front-mount squeegee package if you regularly pull water off large open floors, since the operator can push it like a floor squeegee while it vacuums. The standard kit is set up for wet pickup; if you also want dry pickup, add the dust floor tool and dual filtration system options, or look at the V-WD-24, which ships with dry tools.”

Tennant V-WD-24P: a 24-gallon wet/dry vacuum with pump-out

The Tennant V-WD-24P is a 120 V corded wet/dry vacuum with a built-in submersible pump that empties the tank at up to 48 gpm (180 L/min). It has the same 1,200 W (max) motor, 100 in water lift and 40 ft (12 m) cord as the V-WD-24, with a 22.7 gal (86 L) gross tank volume. Tennant designed the pump for draining flooded areas, emptying the tank without lifting or tipping it, and emergency cleanup, so it suits facilities that deal with leaks, floods and large volumes of water. It is sold here as a standard pump-out kit or with Tennant's front-mount squeegee kit.

V-WD-24 or V-WD-24P? Both share the 1,200 W (max) motor, 100 in water lift, 146 CFM airflow, 40 ft cord and 23 x 18 x 36 in footprint. The V-WD-24 has the larger 24 gal (90 L) gross tank, weighs 41.9 lb (19 kg) and ships with both dry and wet tools. The V-WD-24P adds the 48 gpm submersible pump, has a 22.7 gal (86 L) gross tank, weighs 48.7 lb (22.1 kg), and its standard kit is set up for wet pickup.
