“The T681 is a good next step for a facility that has been running walk-behinds and is ready to sit down. It scrubs a 33.5-inch path and carries more than 26 gallons of solution, so a big-box store, school or hospital can cover a lot of floor in one pass while staying a compact rider at about 60 inches long. The front drive climbs ramps up to 16%, and the built-in Chem-Dose keeps detergent mixing consistent from operator to operator.

Picking a package takes two choices. Go with pad drivers for smooth, finished floors like VCT and sealed concrete, or brushes for grout, textured tile and heavier soil. Then choose 240 Ah wet batteries for the longest run time, 210 Ah sealed AGM if you don't want to water batteries, or no batteries if you already have a set.”

Tennant T681: a small ride-on floor scrubber with a wide scrub path

The Tennant T681 is a battery-powered small ride-on floor scrubber with a 33.5 in (850 mm) disc scrub head, a 26.4 gal (100 L) solution tank and a 29.1 gal (110 L) recovery tank. Tennant built it for medium to large spaces such as retail stores, hospitals and schools, where a wide path and big tanks cut cleaning time in a compact rider. A front traction motor handles ramps up to a 16% grade, and an integrated Chem-Dose system meters detergent for consistent chemical use. It runs on a 24 V system.

Reading the model numbers: All six packages are the same 33.5 in T681. The first three come with pad drivers and the last three with brushes. Within each set you choose 240 Ah wet batteries (up to 2.3 hours of continuous scrubbing per Tennant), 210 Ah sealed AGM batteries that never need watering, or no batteries if you supply your own 24 V set.
