“The T581 is for facilities that would benefit from a rider but think their aisles are too tight for one. At 26.5 inches wide it goes most places a walk-behind goes, and the operator sits, so long runs to the far end of a store, school or hospital wing take less time and less effort. One button drops the scrub head and squeegee together, which keeps training short for crews that change often.
Since every package is the same 20-inch machine, the decision is the battery. The 150 Ah wet set is the standard choice and runs up to 2.3 hours. The 140 Ah AGM set skips the watering. If you scrub more than one shift or want the least battery upkeep, the 180 Ah lithium-ion pack is rated for up to 4 hours. The no-battery package works if you already have a 24-volt set.”
Tennant T581: a compact micro-rider floor scrubber
The Tennant T581 is a battery-powered micro ride-on floor scrubber with a 20 in (510 mm) disc scrub head, a 20 gal (78.5 L) solution tank and a 21 gal (80 L) recovery tank. It is only 26.5 in (673 mm) wide, so it fits narrow aisles and check-out lanes, while the seated operator reaches far corners of a building faster than with a walk-behind. Tennant positions it for medium to large spaces such as retail stores, hospitals and schools, and its 65 dBA sound level makes daytime cleaning practical. It runs on a 24 V system.

Reading the model numbers: Every T581 package here is the same 20 in machine; the number only changes the battery set. The 180 Ah lithium-ion pack roughly doubles the run time of the 150 Ah wet set, and ECO mode can stretch any battery by nearly 20% according to Tennant.
