It scrubs a 28- or 32-inch path with two discs, carries 18.5 gallons of solution, and drives itself, so the operator steers instead of pushing. Warehouses, school hallways and gyms, big-box retail and distribution centers are the kind of floors it is built for.
Pick the deck by your space: the 28-inch turns tighter around racks and furniture, while the 32-inch is rated by Tennant at almost 48,000 square feet an hour on open floor. Then pick the cleaning method. Conventional uses your normal detergent; ec-H2O cleans with converted water for daily maintenance and cuts down on chemical handling. Sealed AGM batteries add a little run time and skip the watering chores, which matters if nobody on the crew owns battery care.”
Tennant T391: a mid-size self-propelled walk-behind floor scrubber
The Tennant T391 is a battery-powered, self-propelled walk-behind floor scrubber with a dual-disc scrub head in a 28 in (700 mm) or 32 in (800 mm) cleaning path. Matching 18.5 gal (70 L) solution and recovery tanks let it cover more floor between dump-and-fill stops than a smaller walk-behind, and a self-leveling brush/pad head keeps even contact with the floor. It is built for larger open floors than a 20 in machine handles well, and it runs on a 24 V battery system with an on-board charger. Every version can be ordered with conventional cleaning or with ec-H2O NanoClean® technology.

Reading the model numbers: Wet (flooded) batteries need regular watering; sealed AGM batteries do not, and Tennant rates them for slightly longer run time: up to 2.8 hours on the 28 in model and 2.6 hours on the 32 in model, against 2.6 and 2.4 hours on wet batteries. The 28 in deck is the more maneuverable choice; the 32 in deck covers the most floor per hour.
