“The Pac-Vac 10 Aircomfort is a corded backpack vacuum for crews who clean a lot of floor and a lot of everything else: offices, classrooms, theaters, stairwells and rooms packed with furniture where an upright keeps bumping into things. With the standard tools stored on the belt, one person can go from carpet to hard floor to upholstery and ledges without walking back to a cart.
The harness is the reason to look at this model. Tornado built it around Deuter's Aircomfort design, with five adjustment points and a mesh back panel that lets air move across the operator's back. Behind that, the numbers are solid for a backpack: 110 CFM, 110 inches of water lift and four-stage filtration with a HEPA cartridge, rated at 69.5 dB(A).
Two things to weigh. It is corded, so there is a 50-foot cord to manage, and the 10-quart body is taller than the 6-quart Pac-Vac 6. For smaller operators or short jobs, the Pac-Vac 6 is the lighter fit, and for cord-free work, look at the battery-powered Tornado Zephyr.”

An 8.5-amp motor on 120 V produces 110 CFM of airflow and 110 inches of water lift at a rated 69.5 dB(A), and Tornado rates productivity at 7,407 sq ft per hour. The unit weighs 14 lb and runs on a 50-ft power cord.
Tornado pairs the vacuum with Deuter's Aircomfort harness, which has five points of adjustment and a mesh back panel that lets air flow from three directions. Filtration is four-stage with a HEPA filter cartridge. The kit includes a crush-proof hose, double-bend wand, crevice tool, upholstery tool, dusting brush, EZ Glide carpet tool and 14-inch carpet and hard-floor tools, and the standard tools store on the belt.
