“The PROFESSIONAL EXTEND SL3681A is a compact bagged canister from Sanitaire's PROFESSIONAL line. At 10 pounds it is easy to carry up stairs and into tight rooms, which makes it a good match for detail work in hotel rooms, offices, break rooms and small retail spaces where an upright is awkward.
It comes set up for mixed floors and above-floor cleaning. A combination carpet/bare floor tool covers the floor, and an upholstery tool, crevice tool and dusting brush handle furniture, edges and vents, all on a two-piece plastic wand. A 10-amp motor rated at 135 CFM pulls debris into a 2.6-quart disposable bag with a pre-motor filter behind it, and Sanitaire lists an optional HEPA filter. It runs at 71 dBA.
Mind the limits. The 20-foot cord means more outlet changes than most uprights, the floor tool has no powered brush roll, and the small bag fills quickly on dirty jobs. For daily carpet care across large areas, an upright such as the TRADITION SC684G makes a better primary machine, with the SL3681A handling detail work.”
