“The Mirage 1500 is a 20-inch cord-electric burnisher for schools, offices, retail and healthcare floors that get regular high-speed polishing to keep a gloss on the finish. A 1.5 HP belt-driven motor spins the pad driver at 1,500 rpm, and the 96-pound machine keeps steady weight on the pad. The flexible pad driver with a threaded centering device follows the floor for an even shine.
It is built simply and solidly: steel and stainless steel construction, dual metal switch levers for left- or right-hand use, a foot-operated handle adjustment, anti-fatigue grips and a non-marking PVC bumper that protects walls and furniture. The 75-foot cord has a steel strain relief spring.
The trade-offs come with any corded burnisher. It needs a standard 15-amp, 120-volt circuit, the operator manages a long cord, and Minuteman limits extension cords to 25 feet of 12-gauge. If you want a faster pad speed on a finish rated for it, the otherwise identical Mirage 2000 runs at 2,000 rpm.”

Dual metal switch levers allow left- or right-hand operation with a safety lockout lever, the handle adjusts with a foot-operated mechanism, and a non-marking PVC bumper protects walls and furniture.
