“The X17 is a self-contained carpet extractor for crews that keep carpet clean on a schedule, not just when it is time for a restoration job. It sprays, agitates with a brush turning 1,800 RPM and vacuums in one pass across a 17-inch path, and it is CRI certified. The 10-inch wheels and adjustable handle make it easy to move between rooms and floors, and the faucet-fill adapter saves trips with a bucket.
There are three versions here. The standard X17 carries a 9-gallon solution tank. The PLUS steps up to 11 gallons with a larger recovery tank, so you refill less often on bigger areas. The CFS models add Minuteman’s ozone-based Chemical Free Solution system for cleaning carpet without chemicals. Each one comes with a 50 psi pump or, on the HP models, a 100 psi pump.”
A 17-inch self-contained carpet extractor for daily and interim carpet care
The Minuteman X17 Series combines powered brush agitation, pressurized spray and a 17-inch vacuum shoe for maintenance cleaning of carpet in offices, schools, hotels, medical centers and retail centers. Tanks are non-corrosive polyethylene that won’t dent, corrode or rust. On-board auxiliary power runs an optional scrub wand and upholstery tool for upholstery and spots the machine can’t reach.

Reading the model numbers: 115 means a 115 V machine. HP adds the 100 psi pump, PLUS means the larger tanks, and Z marks the CFS ozone models.
Features:
- Single adjustable brush with a gauge that shows when the height is set; "when it’s green, it’s time to clean"
- One-touch solution stop, so the operator doesn’t have to hold the spray trigger; momentary and continuous spray
- Two quick-disconnect spray jets for simple maintenance
- Automatic float shutoff protects the vacuum motor; clear recovery dome and tank caps
- Faucet-fill adapter and a removable recovery tank with a dump hose
