“The RoboScrub 20 is for facilities that scrub the same floor every day and would rather have their people doing something else. Grocery stores, retail centers, warehouses and production areas fit that description. You drive a route once to teach it, and after that it repeats the route on its own, steering around people and obstacles with its cameras and LiDAR. The Robot Operations Center sends alerts to your phone when it needs solution, a charge or help with a blocked path.
It is still a full ride-on scrubber, so when there is a spill the operator just hops on and drives. It scrubs a 20-inch path and holds 16 gallons of solution. Minuteman rates it at up to about 20,000 square feet an hour on its own. The decision here is the battery. The lead-acid packages match Minuteman’s published run time of up to four hours. The lithium-ion package is the sealed, low-maintenance option.”
A 20-inch rider scrubber that drives itself or runs with an operator
The Minuteman RoboScrub 20 is an autonomous ride-on floor scrubber built on the Max Ride 20 platform (Minuteman’s MR20-AI series). It uses BrainOS® technology with built-in 2D and 3D cameras, LiDAR and other sensors to learn cleaning routes, navigate around people and obstacles and repeat its routines on its own. Minuteman built it for shopping centers, grocery stores, warehouses and production halls, and for hard indoor floors from polished concrete to vinyl composition tile (VCT). When a quick spill or ad-hoc job comes up, an operator can drive it as a conventional ride-on scrubber. It scrubs a 20 in path with 16-gallon solution and recovery tanks.

Reading the model numbers: Minuteman numbers every autonomous Max Ride 20 starting with MR20-AI. QP is a Quick Pack shipped with batteries, and LIM marks the lithium-ion package. Minuteman’s parts manual lists separate controllers for AGM and lithium-ion batteries, so the battery type is set at the factory.
