Steam gets into grout lines, fixtures and corners, and the VapoHydro control lets you run drier steam on sensitive surfaces or wetter steam to loosen heavy buildup. Because the fresh-water tank can be topped off while it runs, you don't have to stop and wait for the boiler to cool to refill.
Both packages are the same steam cleaner. The plain SG 4/4 is fine if you work from one area or carry it on a housekeeping cart. Pick the package with the transport cart if the unit moves between rooms, floors or buildings during the day.”
A compact commercial steam cleaner that cleans without chemicals
The Kärcher SG 4/4 is a compact, robust commercial steam cleaner that gives strong cleaning performance without chemical additives. It produces up to 58 psi of steam pressure, with continuously variable steam flow and Kärcher's VapoHydro function for stepless adjustment of steam saturation, so it can be adapted to each cleaning task. The fast-heating 2-tank system can be topped up at any time for long periods of uninterrupted work, and it has a built-in temperature display. Kärcher cites certified disinfection under prEN 16615 test conditions using the floor nozzle with lamellae. It runs on 120 V power at 1,500 W and has a typical operating weight of 17.6 lb.
