“The KM 85/50 W Bp sits between a manual push sweeper and a rider. It is a battery-powered walk-behind with traction drive in forward and reverse, so the operator steers and the machine does the pushing. Kärcher rates it at about 41,000 square feet per hour with the standard side brush, which suits warehouses, production areas, loading docks, parking garages and school grounds that are too big to broom but too tight for a ride-on.
The floating main roller follows uneven floors without adjustment, the flat pleated filter keeps dust down indoors, and you can turn down suction to sweep wet surfaces. The waste container rolls on casters, so emptying is not a lifting job. It also fits through a standard 35-inch door. If you want both edges of an aisle in one pass, Kärcher's optional left side brush raises the rating to about 50,860 square feet per hour.”
A battery walk-behind vacuum sweeper with forward and reverse traction drive
The Kärcher KM 85/50 W Bp is a battery-powered, walk-behind vacuum sweeper for production halls, warehouses, logistics and loading areas, parking garages, service stations, school yards and smaller workshops. It uses the overthrow sweeping principle with suction, works indoors and outdoors on hard floors and paved surfaces, and has adjustable suction so it can also sweep wet surfaces. Its compact frame fits through normal 35 in (90 cm) door openings.
