“The BR 45/22 C Bp is the larger of Kärcher's two steerable cylindrical scrubbers, sized for big rooms that are still broken up by furniture, fixtures and tight turns: classrooms, retail aisles, offices and healthcare corridors. The brush head swivels up to 200 degrees each way, so the operator steers the deck instead of muscling the whole machine around corners.
What stands out is how the head and squeegee work together. The cylindrical brush stays square to the direction of travel, so the squeegee follows it into corners and around curves, and the roller pre-sweeps light debris as it scrubs. The 25.2 V lithium-ion battery charges on board and can be topped off between areas, and Eco!efficiency mode quiets it down for daytime work.
Be realistic about capacity: 5.8 gal tanks and up to 2 hours per charge. For large open floors, the traction-drive B 50 W Bp R55 with 13.2 gal tanks will cover more ground; for small rooms, the 14 in BR 35/12 C Bp is lighter and easier to load.”

The Kärcher BR 45/22 C Bp (1.783-461.0) is a battery walk-behind scrubber with a 17.7 in cylindrical roller brush on a steerable head that rotates up to 200° in either direction. The brush stays square to the direction of travel, so the squeegee picks up water in corners and on curves. It carries 5.8 gal of solution and 5.8 gal of recovery, and Kärcher rates it at 19,375 sq ft per hour theoretical.
A 25.2 V, 42 Ah lithium-ion battery with an on-board charger provides up to 2 hours of run time, and Eco!efficiency mode lowers noise and extends run time. The brush turns at 650 to 1,000 rpm with 38 lb of contact pressure and pre-sweeps as it scrubs. Controls are color-coded, a drain hose empties the recovery tank, and an exhaust air filter is available as an option.
