New Karcher MC 250 103" City Sweeper
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The MC 250 is the big compact: still only 51 inches wide, but with a 3.3 cu yd container and a 103-inch sweep path, it suits public works departments, airports and large campuses that cover long routes and want fewer trips to dump. A 37 mph top speed shortens the drive between work areas.
What stands out is how it handles. Hydropneumatic independent suspension smooths the ride, selectable four-wheel steering tightens turns in cul-de-sacs and parking lots, and the two-person cab puts the operating controls in the armrest. The stainless steel container and standard water reclamation with a separate water tank stretch the time between refills and dumps.
The trade-off is size. With a 13,228 lb permissible total weight, it is more vehicle than a sidewalk or bike-path crew needs; for that work the MC 150 or MC 80 is a better fit. And if your routes are noise-sensitive, Kärcher also offers the MC 250 e!ectric.”
A 103-inch city sweeper with a 3.3 cu yd container and 37 mph top speed.
The Kärcher MC 250 is a compact vacuum sweeper for long urban routes. A VM four-cylinder diesel with particulate filter produces 102 hp (75 kW), meets Tier 4 Final and gives a top speed of 37 mph (60 km/h). Hydropneumatic independent suspension, selectable four-wheel steering and a two-person cab with armrest-integrated controls keep it comfortable to drive between and during jobs.
Two side brushes sweep a 103 in (2,625 mm) path, or 107 in (2,710 mm) with three. Debris goes into a 3.3 cu yd (2.5 m³) stainless steel container that empties at 63 in (1,600 mm), and a water reclamation system with a separate water tank works alongside the 53 gal (200 L) fresh water tank. Overall width is 51 in (1,300 mm).
