“The SGV 8/5 Classic is for hard-surface cleaning where chemicals are a problem or a hassle: restrooms, commercial kitchens, locker rooms and healthcare spaces. It loosens soil with steam and vacuums it up with the same tool, so grout lines, fixtures and corners get cleaned without a mop leaving dirty water behind.
The controls are the standout. An EASY dial picks one of seven steam and vacuum modes, and the gun in the operator's hand switches steam flow, rinsing and suction during work, so there is little walking back to the machine. Working steam runs at 116 psi with a boiler temperature up to 343°F, and a hot water rinse at about 158°F flushes loosened soil before vacuuming.
Plan around the tanks and the warm-up. The fresh water tank holds 1.5 gallons and the dirty water tank 1.3 gallons, so this is a detail and restroom machine rather than a large-floor machine, and the boiler needs time to heat before steaming. For big open floors, an auto scrubber or the AP 100/50 M covers more ground.”

It works at a steam pressure of 116 psi with a maximum boiler temperature of 343°F, and it can also deliver hot water at about 158°F for rinsing. Three steam flow levels let the operator match output to the job.
An EASY dial selects among seven steam and vacuum modes, while the steam/suction gun controls steam flow, rinsing and suction during work. A display shows operating status and service and error messages, and a self-cleaning function supports long-term hygiene. The 1.5-gallon fresh water tank is removable and can be refilled at any time, and the 1.3-gallon dirty water tank empties without direct contact.
